Katharine grew up in Palo Alto, California and Hsinchu, Taiwan and is currently pursuing her MFA in acting at The New School for Drama in New York City.

She originated roles in new plays by Lauren Yee (Yoonji in Hookman) as well as Penelope Skinner's U.S. premiere of Fred's Diner at Magic Theatre in San Francisco, where she played Mel.

From 2014 - 2016, Katharine was a member of the San Francisco Neo-Futurists, where she wrote and performed in their ongoing show Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind

When she's not busy making theatre, you'll find her knitting sweaters or goofing off with her husband and their dog.
